To enjoy academically and socially during the stay of international students in HZAU, international students’ incentives for self-management and self-service, the HZAU-International Students Volunteer Center (ISVC) has been established since 2017. We are now recruiting volunteers for each department of ISVC (2024-2025), intending to enrich international students’ extracurricular life, promote exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign students as well as the internationalization of campus culture.
We warmly welcome all HZAU students, both from China and foreign countries, who aspire to facilitate in scientific and cultural exchange between Chinese and overseas students to join us.

There are a wide range of departments for you to join according to your interest and the competence you wish to showcase in the HZAU-ISVC: Department of Secretary and Publicity, Department of Scientific Research and Development, Department of Living Services and Department of Culture Exchange and Sports Activities.
1. Department of Secretary and Publicity is in charge of coordination and external liaison of all departments within HZAU Volunteer Center of International Students. Since the department is a standing body of the center, volunteers in this department often work in International student's office. They enhance communications with management office and ISO teachers, and cooperation with associations both inside and outside HZAU. In collaboration with others, the department also organizes major events like an international cultural festival, and New Year party, publicity, guidance in preparations of major events, and issuing some certificates. Translation of notices, documents, and news, Editing and publishing the reports of ISVC events, Creating and developing the content for social media platforms that align with the HZAU-ISVC’s voice and academic goals. Note: A Volunteer to apply to this department must have some knowledge about creating or designing images/pictures/certificates, and videos, also must have been following @discover_hzau on all social media platforms for more than 3 months.
2. Department of Scientific Research and Development: The department is responsible for organising workshops, seminars and symposium. The department also organises lectures and presentations with professors from HZAU and abroad. The main objective of this department is to familiarise international students with the most advanced knowledge and skills in the scientific and research careers.
3. Department of Living Services is responsible for daily life affairs management, service and consultancy of international students, which includes keeping dorm quite, cleanness and orderly, assisting with matter concerning relocation of students’ dorm, accommodation and dorm maintenance, organizing promotion and publicity campaigns on Chinese laws and regulations, school disciplines and rules. The department also checks international students’ monthly attendance, collect and feed back their opinions and suggestions.
4. The Department of Cultural Exchange and Sports Activities mainly hosts cultural exchange activities including Activities for language and culture exchange, such as language study, HZAU international show, sports activities, night movies, color runs, ball games, and sports gala etc. It also organizes drama, comedy, and dancing performances and prepares for events like New Year Celebration Event.
Department of Cultural exchange also enhances communications among Chinese, international students, and Chinese society in ways of organizing scientific practice and volunteer teaching, to help international students get a deeper understanding of Chinese history as well as customs, and help them integrate into Chinese society. This department mainly organizes, hosts, and team up in all kinds of recreational and cultural activities.
Volunteer of HAZU Volunteer Center of International Students shall agree to
1. Abide by Chinese law and regulations as well as HZAU school disciplines
2. Observe relevant regulations of International students office and HZAU’s financial management.
3. Not to carry out any religious and political activities.
4. Respect different countries’ customs and religious beliefs without ethnic and gender discrimination
5. Report to ISO teachers and obtain ISO teacher’s consent before undertake certain activities

We will conduct the coordinators interview first, and then organize the volunteer interview.
