Notice about International Students Application of Huazhong Agricultural University in 2023

Huazhong Agricultural University(HZAU) provides postgraduate programs for international students in 2023. HZAU sincerely and warmly welcomes you to join us and achieve your ambitions!

1. Scholarships

【Chinese Government Scholarship: Chinese Government Scholarship】 is established by the Ministry of Education of P.R.China (hereinafter referred to as MOE). China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the MOE, holds the responsibility of the verification, approval and the routine management of the program. Huazhong Agricultural University (hereinafter referred to as HZAU) is one of the Chinese universities listed under this program and is entrusted by MOE to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies.

• Application Qualification:

*Be non-Chinese citizens in good health

*Applicants for Master’s degree must have obtained Bachelor’s Degree and be under the age of 35.

*Applicants for Doctoral degree must have obtained Master’s Degree and be under the age of 40.

• Values of the scholarship

-Tuition waiver

-Free university accommodation

-Stipend: Master’s students: 3,000 RMB/month; Doctoral students: 3,500 RMB/month

-Comprehensive medical insurance

Notes: Softcopies of required documents should be uploaded when applying online. Hardcopies will not be acceptable this year.

4. Selection and Notification

A comprehensive review will be conducted on applicant’s academic record, language  proficiency,  research achievements and their prospective  supervisor’s comments. The shortlisted candidates of CSC Scholarship will be submitted to China Scholarship Council for final approval. The shortlisted candidates of HZAU Scholarship will be submitted to local government for final approval. Scholarships awardees will be notified by email. Admission Notices and  Visa  Application Forms for Study (JW201/JW202) will be sent afterwards.
