为激励来华留学生刻苦学习、热心公益，国际学院将继续开展评选2016-2017学年度来华留学生先进个人。

In order to encourage more and more international students to study hard and to be warmhearted in promoting public good, some awards will be granted to the best students who have excellent performance in 2016-2017 school year in Huazhong Agricultural University by International College.

   一、奖项设置 What awards you can apply for?

1.优秀来华留学生奖（Distinguished International Student Scholarship in China）

申请资格Applicant’s qualification:

1）二年级及以上研究生

Students who are qualified for application must be second-year graduates or above for Master OR doctoral degree in HZAU.

2）学习成绩优秀，无挂科纪录

Excellent Academic Record with strong abilities of learning and research. No failed courses during the study period.

3）积极参加文体活动

Active participation in sport activities and social practices; giving priority to those with outstanding performances.

4）自然科学类硕士研究生在校期间须至少发表影响因子2以上的SCI学术论文1篇或发表论文累计影响因子达 4以上；自然科学类博士研究生在校期间须至少发表1篇影响因子4以上的SCI学术论文或发表学术论文累计影响因子达 8以上；    

Master degree student in science or engineering should publish one SCI academic paper during his/her master degree study with IF≥2 or SCI academic papers with cumulative IF≥4, while Doctoral Degree in science or engineering should publish one SCI academic paper during his/her doctoral degree study with IF≥4 or SCI academic papers with cumulative IF≥8.

人文社科类硕士研究生在校期间须至少发表SCI学术论文1篇；人文社科类博士研究生在校期间须至少发表SCI学术论文2篇；  

Master degree student in Economics & Management, Humanities & Social Sciences should publish at least one SCI academic paper, while Doctoral degree student in Economics & Management, Humanities & Social Sciences should publish at least two SCI academic papers.

申请者须为学术论文的第一作者或并列第一作者；华中农业大学须为论文发表单位；所有论文须已在网上发表或已出版；用稿通知书不能作为评选依据。

The applicant must be the first author, or equal author. Huazhong Agricultural University must be the corresponding authority in the paper. All academic papers must be published online or magazine; acceptance letter only cannot be included.

   2.科研贡献奖。学习刻苦努力，且取得了突出科研成果（至少发表了SCI 论文1篇）的来华留学生均可申请。

Research Contribution Award.

Students who work hard and get excellent academic achievements (published at least one SCI academic paper) can apply for it.

3.学习优秀奖。学习刻苦努力，各科考试成绩突出，无挂科纪录的来华留学生均可申请。

Learning Excellence Award.

Students who work hard, get the most excellent results in every course and have no failing records in examinations can apply for it.

   4.学习进步奖。学习刻苦努力，取得了突出进步且2016-2017学年通过了所有科目考试的二年级及以上来华留学生本科生方可申请。

Most Improved Award in Study.

Students who work hard, make great progress and pass all the examinations of the school year can apply for it（only for undergraduate who study more than a year in HZAU.

   5.文体积极分子奖。积极组织或参与各类文化体育活动，并取得了优异成绩的来华留学生均可申请。

Recreational and Sports Activities Activist.

Students who take an active part in all kinds of recreational and sports activities can apply for it.

   6.优秀志愿者奖。热心公益、积极组织并参加各类社会服务、文体活动并在国际学院志愿者中心注册了的中外学生志愿者均可申请。

Outstanding Volunteer Assistant.

All registered volunteer assistants (in volunteer center of international college)who take an active part in social public welfare activities, love the collectives and care for others can apply for it.

   以上奖项可同时申请。但获评优秀来华留学生奖学金的同学不能同时享受其他奖项。

   If qualified, you can apply for multiple awards at the same time.But students who win the Distinguished International Student Scholarship in China can not enjoy other awards in the meantime.

   二、基本要求What are the basic requirements?

   1.对华友好，遵守中国法律法规和校纪校规，生活习惯良好，举止文明，尊重中国文化习俗。

   Those who are friendly to China, abide by Chinese laws and regulations, rules and regulations of the school, have good habits and civilized behavior, respect for Chinese culture;

   2.诚实正直，无违法违纪纪录并通过了每年的奖学金年度评审。

   Those who are honest, and have no illegal, undisciplined record， passed the scholarship annual review in any year.

三、申请材料 What application materials should be submitted?

1.《优秀来华留学生奖学金申请表》或《华中农业大学来华留学生先进个人申请表》（可从国际学院网站下载）。

The application form (the form can be downloaded from our college website: http://ic.hzau.edu.cn/→ “Download”→ “Study@HZAU”→ Application form for “Distinguished International Student Scholarship”or Form for Application of Individual Awards of Excellence in HZAU);

2.所获奖励证书或荣誉证书

All kinds of award certificates, honorary certificates for some sport activities, art performance and social practice.

3.各科考试成绩单（仅限于优秀来华留学生奖、学习优秀奖和学习进步奖）

Academic Transcript of all courses(for Distinguished International Student Scholarship in China &Learning Excellence Award &Most Improved Award in Study);

4.经导师签字确认后的已发表科研论文的复印件（仅限于优秀来华留学生奖和科研贡献奖）

Hard-copies of published academic papers with the signature of supervisor on the top of the paper for the graduate students(for Distinguished International Student Scholarship in China & Research Contribution Award).

以上所有材料须真实，如有作弊，将被取消评选资格。

All materials must be original and true. This scholarship and the student status will be canceled and if any fake is found.

四、上交材料How to submit the application?

请于2017年6月9日前将所有申请材料交至留学生教育管理办公室（503房间）,逾期将不再受理。

All the application materials should be submitted to the international students’ affairs office （Room 503）before June 9th 2017; otherwise it will no longer be accepted.

五、评选程序How the winners are selected?

国际学院将组织专家，根据申请者的申请材料和实际表现开展评选。评选结果将在国际学院网站和微信公众号公布(国际学院将推荐2-3名候选人至国家留学基金委参与优秀来华留学生的竞争)。获奖者将被授予证书和奖金。

International College will organize some experts to select the best ones from the applicants according their application materials and real performance. The names of award winners or the candidates recommended to CSC (HZAU will recommend 2-3 candidates to CSC to join the national competition for this scholarship)will be announced on the website of International College and the official we-chat account . Certificates and prizes will be granted to the winners.
